Cincinnati is about to unleash one of its top targets.

Star receiver Tee Higgins has not played since Cincinnati’s Week 9 win against Buffalo. His return is a welcome sign for a Bengals offense that has yet to fully find its way since Joe Burrow went down for the season with a wrist injury.

The fourth year receiver said he feels close to 100%, but he doesn’t want to push himself too hard to risk further injury.

“I feel like I’m there, but I definitely don’t want to push myself too soon to where I go out there and have a setback. I feel like I’m 100%, but I’m still easing my way in and just trying to get back in the rhythm of things,” Tee said in an interview with Local 12.

Higgins has had his struggles with consistency this season. In particular, in the Week One loss to Cleveland, he came down with zero catches on eight targets. However, he came alive in the final two games before his three-game absence, totaling 179 yards on 13 receptions over that span.

Higgins’ impending return has made Jake Browning, Cincinnati’s starting QB for the rest of the season, a very happy man.

“Tee’s one of the top receivers in the NFL. Don’t really think you can put into words how important he is to this offense,” said Browning.
