McDaniel Is Prepared For The Narratives
Mike McDaniel is all too familiar with how people feel about his team.
Mike McDaniel predicts what the narratives will be after Sunday's game vs the Chiefs:
"If we lose, we can't beat good teams. If we win, we're going to win the Super Bowl."

However, McDaniel is blocking out the outside noise and focusing on the simple task at hand: winning.
“None of it matters. You have to be your best when your best is required, and that’s when there’s elimination games. So you’re trying to build towards that and take advantage of every opportunity to best service yourself for the situation at (the) end of the season,” McDaniel added.
There is something to be said about that narrative. Miami’s six wins have come against teams with losing records, including the 70-20 destruction of the Broncos. Miami’s two losses have come to teams with winning records, and those losses were by a combined 42 points.
McDaniel has an opportunity to end the narrative that the Dolphins can’t beat good teams on Sunday, when he faces the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
As good as the Chiefs have been all year, their dominance is both surprisingly and not surprisingly the biggest storyline that’s followed them all year.
🎥 Jaylen Waddle on Taylor Swift potentially attending the Chiefs vs. Dolphins game in Germany: "Taylor Swift coming? It's going to be fun, I guess. I'm a Swiftie." #FinsUp pic.twitter.com/mSEkGqFDDk

(We here at The Noise are contractually obligated by the NFL to include at least one Taylor Swift reference in every article about the Chiefs. We now return you to your regularly scheduled article)
On the field, one notable storyline will be the Dolphins offense, which is the NFL’s highest scoring offense, going up against the Chiefs defense, which has the second lowest scoring defense in the NFL among teams that have not had a bye (the Ravens have the lowest). The Chiefs are tied with the Bills for the second most sacks in the NFL, which is a tall task for an o-line that will be without Rob Hunt. However, one key cog will likely be returning this week to make life a little easier.
Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel tells reporters in Germany he’s “very optimistic” LT Terron Armstead will be available Sunday vs. Chiefs. Good signs for center Connor Williams to go too. RG Robert Hunt will be be OUT.

Armstead will likely be returning for his first game since the October 1st game against the Bills. It will be his third start of the season.
