The Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver depth has suffered yet another blow with Keon Coleman ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Coleman suffered the wrist injury towards the end of the 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Coach Sean McDermott said the injury could keep him out more than this weekend, although he doesn’t expect he will be placed on the injured reserve.

“It’s probably going to be more than this week,” McDermott said. “It’s probably going to be multiple weeks. I just don’t know how far into the future it’ll go.

Coleman has had a bit of a breakout year this season, catching 22 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns. The injury news doesn’t end with Coleman, though. Wide receiver Amari Cooper is also dealing with a wrist injury, and he’s officially questionable for this game. If Cooper can’t go it will leave Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Mack Hollins as the top receiver targets for Josh Allen. Samuel and Hollins are both banged up, although their injuries aren’t expected to keep them out.

The Colts come into Sunday’s matchup with a 4-5 record and are coming off a game against the Minnesota Vikings in which they allowed Justin Jefferson to catch seven passes for 137 yards. If Cooper is out, one of the Bills reserves could be in line for a big game.
