The Pittsburgh Steelers got trounced in all phases by the Houston Texans as they suffered their second blowout of the young season. After two weeks of positive momentum, it’s hard to find much for Steelers fans to hang their hats on as they look forward. Here are some numbers that break down the tough loss.

644 – The number of days since the last time the Houston Texans won a home game before Sunday.

20 – The number of pressures generated by the Texans defense.

0 – The number of sacks the generally high-performing Steelers pass rush had.

28 – This was just the 28th time a Mike Tomlin-led team failed to record a sack. The Steelers are 8-20 in those games, with losses in the last 11.

14 – The number of times in the Mike Tomlin era where the Steelers have been held to single digits.

7-168-2 Nico Collins‘ outrageous stat line for the day.

63% – The percentage of Kenny Pickett’s first-down pass attempts that were thrown behind the line of scrimmage.

0 – The number of first down passing attempts that gained at least five yards.

0/2 – The Steelers only made two trips to the red zone on Sunday and came up empty on both.

18.7 – Pickett’s QBR this week against the Texans.

5.1– After struggling for the first three weeks of the season, Najee Harris averaged 5.1 yards per carry this week

This was a “watch the game tape and then burn it” sort of performance. Unfortunately, the Steelers are starting to stack those up. If things don’t turn around quickly against Baltimore next week, it’s shaping up to be a very interesting bye in Week 6.
