The Pittsburgh Steelers bad loss to the 49ers just got a whole lot worse. Cam Heyward, who left Sunday’s game due to a groin injury, is now expected to miss multiple weeks per Ian Rapoport.

If Heyward is indeed ultimately placed on the injured reserve, the team will be without him for four weeks.

The defensive co captain, who was injured in the second quarter on a pass rush, is a vital piece of a Steelers line that will need to step up on Sunday to help correct the teams course. Larry Ogunjobi, Montravius Adams, Isiahh Loudermilk, Keeanu Benton, and DeMarvin Leal will be left to fill in the holes as the Black and Gold attempt to get right against the suddenly formidable Cleveland Browns.

The tough blow serves as a dose of déjà vu after losing TJ Watt early in a crucial stretch of the teams season last year. With several concerns on the defensive side of the football, not the least of which been, Patrick Petersons sudden age, Mike Tomlin has his work cut out for him as he once again try’s to lead ho team through a tough early health stretch.
