The Miami Dolphins have officially added a high profile name to their wide receiver room on a one year contract.

After being a legitimate WR1 for the Giants for the first five seasons of his career, he has since bounced around the league. After being traded from New York, he has spent time with the Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Kim Kardashian. He even took home a Super Bowl ring in Los Angeles.

In nine career NFL seasons, Beckham has 566 receptions, 7,932 yards, and 56 touchdowns, 35 of which came in his first three seasons. In his most recent season with the Ravens, he notched a respectable 35 receptions, 565 yards, and 3 touchdowns.

With Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle garnering much of the attention from opposing defenses, Beckham, who can still produce at his age, will likely have some breathing room to put up yardage as he enters the twilight of his career. Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft, and rookie Malik Washington will round out the wide receiver corps.

After cutting players like Xavien Howard and letting Christian Wilkins and Robert Hunt walk in free agency, Miami had much more financial freedom to make moves. Beckham’s signing will add a veteran presence in the wide receiver room and add a downfield target for Tua Tagovailoa.
