The Buffalo Bills won their fifth straight game on Sunday after notching a 30-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, despite a lackluster passing performance from Josh Allen. Buffalo now holds a comfortable four-game lead in a lopsided AFC East battle.

What were the numbers that defined the victory for the Bills?

36:30 – The Bills held the Colts without a score for 36 minutes and 30 minutes, starting with 6:32 in the second quarter and ending with two seconds in regulation on an Alec Pierce touchdown. During that span, the Bills were able to pull away from the Colts…

4, 2Taron Johnson took back a Joe Flacco interception for a touchdown on the Colts’ first possession. It was one of four turnovers caused by Flacco on the day, and it was the second Pick 6 the Bills have logged this season. Buffalo has forced 19 turnovers in 2024, which is the second most in the NFL thus far.

1 – Joe Flacco’s Pick 6 occurred on the Colts’ first play from scrimmage.

2 – Josh Allen threw two interceptions on Sunday. It was his first multi-interception game of the season, and both interceptions came on the first play of each drive.

0 – Despite being sacked twice, Josh Allen totaled zero yards lost on both sacks.

2.7 – Outside of a 58-yard rush in the first quarter, the Bills limited Jonathan Taylor to under 2.7 yards per carry.

1 – Of the five field goals kicked by both teams, only one (Tyler Bass‘ 47-yarder to end the first half) was kicked from beyond 29 yards.

2Dion Dawkins, Dawson Knox, and Spencer Brown all committed two penalties apiece for Buffalo, and the Bills committed eight penalties altogether.

86Mack Hollins was the leading receiver among both teams on Sunday, racking up 86 receiving yards. It was the second-highest single-game yardage total of his entire career.

10 – The Bills scored 10 points in three out of four quarters on Sunday. The exception was a scoreless third quarter.

32 – Despite playing 22 snaps, Ty Johnson did not log a single carry. He did, however, catch three passes on three targets for 32 yards.
