Josh Allen’s historic season didn’t culminate with a Super Bowl, but last night’s NFL Honors ceremony showed what Bills Mafia already knew: he is the best of the best.

The Bills’ social media team was ready to go with a tribute video, and it will make you feel all the feels.

After a second place finish in 2020, a third place finish in 2022, and a fifth place finish in 2023, he finally took home the ever elusive Most Valuable Player award. He became the first Bills player to be named MVP since Thurman Thomas in 1991.

The video properly chronicled the hard work, determination, and undeniable talent that define Allen’s football acumen. He went from a lightly recruited quarterback that had to prove himself at every level to the franchise quarterback that the Bills had searched high and low for during the better portion of the 21st century.

Now that Allen took home the MVP by the slimmest of margins, fans were able to appreciate Allen’s superhero level of play. They were reminded of his game winning run against Kansas City and his pitch back from Amari Cooper against the 49ers, among other things. They were reminded of the quarterback that brought the Bills from relative obscurity to a perennial Super Bowl contender. They reminded Josh Rosen that they did not make a mistake by drafting the former Wyoming Cowboy instead.

Even though the historic season had a bittersweet ending, fans can look to the recap video, in addition to the viral video from the youngest members of Bills Mafia, and know that their journey with Josh Allen is far from over.
