LeSean McCoy: God Made The People Of Buffalo Special
When people think Buffalo, they often think Bills Mafia. Crazy fans, broken tables, and rowdy tailgates fill the internet to represent those who love New York’ most northern football team. What is lost in this depiction of Buffalo, though, is the true heart of the people. Buffalo is a beautiful place filled with the best type of loyal human beings.
Appearing on The Herd With Colin Cowherd, former Bills running back LeSean McCoy detoured from discussing Josh Allen’s MVP worthy year to show some love for the people behind the Mafia.
Here’s the back and forth between he and Cowherd:
McCoy
“I’ll tell you what if you never been to Buffalo you need to go man, cuz you would see like a community. They really love their team.”
Cowherd
“My wife used to have to go to several cities in the country…she said Buffalo has the most honest nicest people in the country.”
McCoy
“For sure…When it was snowing so bad, before I even go outside they were already shoveling the snow. I’m like these people, God made these people special. Buffalo’s nice.”
Cowherd
“I saw a survey years ago I thought this was so funny and the survey was the what city in the country of size are people proudest to live in? And you think oh beachy city in Florida… yeah Buffalo number one… you know why? Because to live in Buffalo you choose to live in Buffalo. It’s not because it’s a big corporate hub. Your friends are there, your buddies are there, you went to high school there. You’re proud of your team. That’s why in the big picture the best Super Bowl this year honestly is Buffalo against Detroit, it’s tied, they go into overtime [and] Buffalo wins.”
Really great to see McCoy sticking up for a city that has far more to offer than people realize.
