Taylor And Ravens’ Picard Amongst Those Defending Logan Wilson
Logan Wilson, one of the Bengals’ top defensive players of the 2020s, has come under intense criticism for his hip drop tackle on Ravens TE Mark Andrews, which caused a fractured ankle that ended his season.

Wilson’s criticism was also increased by the fact that he also made tackles on Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr. that briefly sent them to the sideline due to injury.
The reactions were swift. Not only was a narrative of Wilson being a dirty player heavily driven, but he and his family also received numerous threats as a result of the incident. The threats were so bad that Wilson’s wife, Morgan, was forced to speak up.
Y’all hating on Logan Wilson is one thing. But if you’re one of the ones bringing his extremely sweet wife (who never says anything about anyone) and their UNBORN baby into this. You should be ashamed. You suck as a person for that. There’s no need for that. Grow tf up. pic.twitter.com/hUV4kocjoI

While many in the NFL world were quick to criticize the 4th year linebacker out of Wyoming and drive the narrative of him being a dirty player, many who actually know him were even quicker to defend him. One of those people to defend him was his own head coach.

It wasn’t just those in Bengals country that were defending him. Even people in the rival Ravens’ organization know that while Logan Wilson plays the game hard, he plays the game the right way.
“Everybody respects him. I don’t think it was intentional or dirty. I think he’s a great player. I have respect for him and think he plays the right way. I’ve never had a problem with him or heard that anyone had a problem with him,” said Ravens FB Patrick Ricard.
Wilson is not expected to face any discipline for the incident.
